A couple of comments to think about for next year.
- The majority of the info in the registration bags we received went into the garbage. I would recommend that you give the participants the option of taking what information they would like at the time of registration pick-up. You could have all the pamplets and booklets in boxes at the regoistartion and let people pick-up what they like. This would be much more environmentally responsible and would fit with the kayak theme.
- The 3person event was exciting and very successful. One of my comments is that the registration into this event should include a couple of practices as part of the cost. This is done in dragonboat racing and people would feel much more confident when they enter the race. The majority of the teams did not know how to steer the boat and with a little instruction they would have a much better experience during the race.
