Timmins’ own Coldwater brings rock, country and pop to the Eastlink stage on Friday night via band members Kevin Anthony, Julie Cyr, Peter Lawryniw, Cass Lamarche, Ricky Dupuis, Jacob Fletcher, and Joshua Vien.  They were winners of the 2018 Battle of the Bands.  Performing together since 2015 they will open the concert at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Rivers are 3-piece Hard Rock Band from North Bay Ontario. The 3 boys are driven and work full time on their music with the goal of becoming Canada’s next big thing.  In March 2017 The Rivers released their Debut EP called “Driven” featuring 3 of their original songs “Good”, “Woman Ways” and their most Successful song “The System”. The EP is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, iHeart Radio, and many more music distribution outlets. They have also released and Official Music Video for “The System” in May of 2017.  Enjoy the show put on by Josh Berry (Vocals/Guitar), Jared Dorcas (Bass), Kyle Poulin (Drums).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah Smith’s powerful voice and introspective pop/rock songwriting have earned her a wide following through years of touring in Canada, the United States, and Europe. A prolific and passionate artist, her full-length albums include A Christmas Wish (2018) Live In Concert (2018), 11 (2016), The Journey (2014), and Stronger Now (2012), as well as the book November (written about the band’s tour in
Europe 2017) and the live DVD Sarah Smith: Plugged and Unplugged (2015). Sarah is a seasoned road warrior, playing over 200 shows per year. Along the way, she has shared the stage with artists including Carole Pope, Sass Jordan, Biff Naked, Emm Gryner, Joel Plaskett, David Wilcox, 54-40, The Tea Party and many others. Whether it’s just her and her acoustic guitar or her full band, she is simply
a mesmerizing performer.  Sarah has won many awards throughout her career, including: Best Adult Contemporary at The Toronto Independent Music Awards, Best Rock Artist at the London Music Awards and Best Singer/Songwriter & Best Rock Artist at The Jack Richardson Music Awards.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Headliner Mothership (Steve Milley, Denis St. Amour, Roger Verdon, and Richard Fullerton) will bring the Led Zeppelin experience to the Eastlink Stage on Friday August 23rd.  This Ottawa-based band, whose insanely accurate renditions, will bring you back in time to relive the Led Zeppelin legacy.  Pray hard for the sunshine!

Fortunate Losers are a Sudbury-based rock band comprised of Band members guitarist/singer – Devon Cox, guitarist – Brad Giffen, bassist – Brent Boileau, and drummer – Dan Moir. No stranger to Timmins, this band has been heard at the Battle of the Bands and at Rock on the River.  With influences like Counterparts, Led Zeppelin, August Burns Red, Our Lady Peace, Bush, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Big Wreck, A Day To Remember and Alexisonfire they will bring the sound to the Eastlink stage

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A born and raised Northern Ontario, Canadian, Mitch is a passionate singer/songwriter, guitarist and live performer. He is mostly known for his lead guitar playing role in the Northern rock group Kickback Tracii which he co-founded in the summer of 2014. He recently left the group to pursue his longtime dream of combining his guitar mastery and vocals by writing his own music and fronting his own band. Mitch’s new solo project as started in October of 2017 were he teamed up with Recording Engineer Jay Vernali, in Nashville, and Head Engineer, Darren Magierowski from Jukasa Studios in Hamilton, Ontario and started putting together and recording songs. His first single release “Sweet Summertime So Fine” in May 2018, was welcomed and aired on rotation at several regional radio stations. Immediately after the single release he formed his band by securing Phil Gauthier on drums, Scott Powers on bass, and his son, Jayden Jean, as his left wing, guitars and vocals.

A driving force in the Swedish rock scene of the 2000’s, Bai Bang hails from Helsingborg, Sweden. Bai Bang’s music ranges from classic raunchy sleaze rock to melodic hardrock. Founding member Diddi Kastenholt writes the music and feels the best writing has been on the last 4 albums Rock of Life, All Around The World, Livin’ My Dream and Are You Ready. All of which is featured on their upcoming release Best of Four released on May 31, 2019 via Lion’s Pride Music.

Summer Water Sports has established itself as Canada’s Biggest, Canada’s Best Water Sports Company. Over the past 20 years we’ve taken in excess of one million people water skiing and wakeboarding. We have performed over 1000 professional water ski and stunt shows throughout Ontario.   Want to try it out?  They will be hosting lessons at 1 PM and 3 PM.
